Wenatchee National Forest
There is a per-vehicle fee for overnight camping in developed campgrounds that provide water and garbage services. All campgrounds are on a first-come, first-served basis. Fees for campgrounds must be paid within 1/2 hour after arriving. Water and garbage services provided in fee campgrounds Memorial Day through Labor Day. Pack out trash and remember to bring your own drinking water when campground fee is not required.
Chelan District

Big Creek - (Boat-in campground) Uplake. One shelter, four sites. Toilets. Fixed dock with capacity for four boats. Small waterfall nearby. No fee.
Domke Falls - (Boat-in campground) Uplake. Three sites. Toilet. Near Domke Falls. Fairly good fishing reported. Floating dock with capacity for six boats. No fee.
Junior Point - On USFS Road 5900, 15 miles west of Twenty-Five Mile Creek. Five sites. Toilet. No water available. Great views of Glacier Peak and uplake from foundation of old fire lookout. No fee.
Mitchell - (Boat-in campground) Uplake. 10 miles from Chelan on east side of lake. One shelter, six sites. Toilets. Sheltered dock with capacity for 17 boats. Popular picnic area. No fee.
Ramona Park - On USFS Road 5900-8410, three miles south of Twenty-Five Mile Creek. Eight sites. Toilets. No drinking water. Picnic tables and fire rings. No fee.
South Navarre - Thirty-five miles northwest of Chelan on USFS Road 8200 (Grade Creek). Popular with hunters. Toilets, water available for stock only. Picnic tables, fire rings. No fee.
Lake Wenatchee District

As a result of flood damage, there is limited access to some campgrounds and trails. Call for current conditions.
Chiwawa Horse Camp - Twenty miles north of Fish Lake on the Chiwawa River Road. Twenty-one sites. Loading ramp. Toilets. Extensive trail system includes Rock Creek Trail, 13 miles long. Numerous bridle trails. No fee.
Goose Creek - On USFS Road 6100, one mile off Chiwawa River Road (turnoff is three miles north of Fish Lake). Twenty-nine sites. Specializes in motorcycle camping (no 4-wheelers may operate in campground or adjacent trail system). Campground connects to a network of trails.
Grouse Creek - Open for group camping by reservation only. Seven miles north of Fish Lake on the Chiwawa River Road. Fee. Call the district office at (509) 763-3103 or 664-2704 for information.
Nason Creek - Adjacent to Lake Wenatchee State Park. Only campground in district with flush toilets and electricity in restrooms, 73 sites. Within walking distance of state park swimming area and concession stand, hiking trails and Kahler Glen Golf Course. Fee.
Leavenworth District

Blackpine Creek - Horse camp 19 miles from Leavenworth on the Icicle River Road. Camp area has 10 sites and an unloading ramp. Several trail heads are nearby. Fee.
Bridge Creek - Up the Icicle River Road about 91/2 miles. Six units. No RVs over 19 feet. One group site for 80-100 people and up to 50 vehicles. Group site reservations required 1-800-274-6104). Provide own toilet and water for group site. Vault toilet, garbage service. Fishing and hiking, access to Eightmile trail head. Fee.
Eightmile - Eight miles up the Icicle River Road from Leavenworth, this is the most popular campground in the Icicle Valley. Forty-five sites. One 50-70 person group site with space for up to 25 vehicles (reservation only; 1-800-274-6104). Snow Lakes, Eightmile and Stuart Lake trail heads nearby. Fee.
Ida Creek - About 14 miles up the Icicle River Road. Ten sites. Hand-pump well. Handicap vault toilets. Garbage service. Fishing and hiking. Fee.
Johnny Creek - Offers hiking and fishing. The campground is 121/2 miles from Leavenworth up the Icicle River Road and has 65 campsites with space for 58 RVs over 20 feet long. Fee.
Rock Island - Located about 18 miles from Leavenworth on the Icicle River Road, this camp has 22 sites. Close to Chatter Creek, Trout Lake, Jack Creek and Icicle Creek trail heads. Fee.
Tumwater - Ten miles west of Leavenworth on Highway 2. Space for 80 RVs over 20 feet. One group site for 50-70 people; 35-40 vehicles. Reservations required for group site, call 1-800-280-2267. Running water, handicap restroom, flush toilets, garbage service.
Icicle Gorge Loop Trail - Connects Rock Island and Chatter Creek campgrounds, with trails on both sides of the gorge.
